Isaac Asimov is one of the most influential sci-fi writers of all time, and the Foundation trilogy is his most expansive and weighty work. Believed to be an inspiration for Star Wars, Foundation takes place in a galaxy ruled by an evil empire, where one man has the ability to see into the future and use it to defeat them. It may have been an influence on Star Wars, but Apple will be hoping this is their own Game of Thrones.
