The Queen is a self confessed Whovian, apparently, but not enough to commit to a guest appearance in the series. Perhaps the climax of Voyage of the Damned would've been slightly more acceptable if it had actually been the genuine article wishing the Doctor a merry Christmas after he heroically saved Buckingham Palace from a giant spaceship replica of the Titanic. Only in Doctor Who, eh? She even had a couple of Corgis to complete the look and it still wasn't convincing. No Royal approval from us on this occasion.
