2. The Doctor And Clara Getting Naked For Absolutely No Reason
The nation loves a good old fashioned 'event' Doctor Who episode and The Time of the Doctor was a double whammy in that it served as one of the show's now annual Christmas Specials as well as Matt Smith's highly publicised final escapade in role as the Eleventh Doctor. Nobody could've guessed just quite how eventual it would turn out to be, however, when Clara Oswald merrily skipped into the TARDIS to find our beloved Time Lord in the buff for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Her "WTF?!" face said it all. It's almost as if Steven Moffat had forgotten how jam-packed the episode already was so decided to throw in a completely random and pointless subplot about holographic clothing because he assumed the viewing public would be too pissed to care. And then he made the Doctor bald, too, because anything goes at Christmas. Just be thankful it was the season of goodwill...
