One thing that you can say about the ever-grizzled Rick Grimes is that he doesnt pull any punches, even when it comes to kids. When confronted out in the wilderness by Ron, the teen whose dad he killed, Rick berates him for being out in the open and then delivers a stern and brutal message to him. As the battle-seasoned Grimes puts it, If you come out here, youre gonna die. And it wont be quick and it wont even be over, because youll be one of them. Thats whats gonna happen. Ah, there we are Rick Grimes, always full of sunshine and happiness. Barely half-way into the shows return episode and hes already threatening a kid to do as he says.
