While Sheldon is a complete genius with a disdain for other people and Raj cannot talk to women, the IT guys suffer a lot worse. These guys can't function outside of their comfort zone. In the hierarchy of the company the IT Department are the bottom feeders. Moss especially can't function in the outside world- as shown when he decides to invent a new bra and ends up on the News discussing the IraqWar rather than Dragon's Den to promote his product. Or when he is asked a question and has to be reminded not to Google the question. Roy doesn't fare too much better, such as when he uses the disabled toilet at the theater and has to pretend to be disabled- because as Moss put it, using the disabled toilet is illegal! His reason for being disabled? "Leg's don't work."
