Arrow: 6 Ups And 5 Downs From The Season 4 Premiere 'Green Arrow'

2. Up - That Quentin Lance Twist

I've already discussed the joy of Quentin Lance and his cutting remarks, but the show also found a way to tie him into the plot in a much more tangible way, and one that was pretty shocking as well.

As it turns out towards the end of the episode, Lance has actually been working with Darhk and the Ghosts, helping them with their assault on Star City. Yes, Detective Lance, the perennial cop and man who is always trying to fight for what he feels is right, is now working for the bad guys.

The big question here is why? Clearly this isn't on his terms, so it makes you wonder just what Darhk is holding against him, and how far he will go in helping him with his plans. For now, though, it's an extremely exciting development for the character, and means that Paul Blackthorne should get a much bigger part to play.
