Legends of Yesterday was the second part of the annual Arrow/Flash crossover, and it certainly had a lot to live up to. The first episode, Legends of Today, was one of the very best episodes of either Arrow or The Flash to date, which in itself is no mean feat. Fortunately, Legends of Yesterday continued the high standard and gave viewers yet another fantastic outing for the Emerald Archer, Scarlet Speedster, and Co. With Vandal Savage wanting to trade Hawkman and Hawkgirl for the safety of Central City and Star City, our heroes come up with a plan to take down the immortal rogue once and for all. The thing is, this plan doesnt quite go to plan. Luckily Barry Allens powers give the team the chance to right their initial wrongs. This latest episode (technically of Arrow) gave fans a hugely entertaining, gripping episode that was laced with plenty of WTF moments as our heroes came together to battle a near-unstoppable threat. Amongst the action, humour, shocks and surprises, heres the very best of those WTF moments.
23. Egypt Flashbacks
As soon as Legends of Yesterday opens, we get taken back to the Middle Ages of Egypt. This scene was designed purely to give some elaboration on the backstory of both Prince Khufu and Priestess Chay-Ara, and it was a flashback that needed to be done. But still, it couldnt help but feel a little off and out of place amongst the shared universe of Arrow and sister-show The Flash. As mentioned, this was something that was needed, not to mention it also explained the ties between Vandal Savage and Khufu and Chay-Ara, but it just had a WTF feel about it in how it was such a different tone to the regular action in The CW DC superhero shows.
