Arrow and The Flash are both shows that love to make reference to the greater DC universe and the comic book characters that these series are based upon. And the second part of this years annual crossover didnt miss an opportunity to do just that here. With Team Arrow and Team Flash deciding to seek refuge out in the ass end of nowhere (as Barry Allen puts it), Thea Queen didnt miss a beat when poking fun at the cliché of the relatives of a superhero residing in a discreet farm house. That, of course, was a reference to Kansas most famous son, the Man of Steel himself, Superman, who spent so many years living with the Kents in an idyllic farm house in the middle of nowhere.
