10. Howard Kills Himself

This one really seems like it will end up one way. At the beginning of the series, HHM was the big nasty company that Jimmy was fighting against in his quest to be recognised by his big brother Chuck. After Chuck died, Jimmy learned the truth about everything and mostly moved on from his dealings with HHM and, as a result, it has taken a backseat in Better Call Saul's focus.

That being said, there is still one thing that HHM has that Jimmy wants - his share of the Sandpiper money.

A seven-figure sum would be the perfect start-up fund for Goodman, and what we know is his future mini-empire. In the final scenes of Season Five, we see Jimmy and Kim begin working on a plan to force Howard into settling the case and therefore delivering the cash sooner.

For his part, Howard was always an unwitting bit part who has been manipulated by both Chuck and Jimmy over the years. He's not a bad guy as it turns out, but he is probably not destined to walk off down the yellow brick road at the end. Which, when you consider what he has already had to go through, means that once Jimmy and Kim are finished with him and HHM, Howard's mental state may be too much for him to bear.
