Better Call Saul is the epitome of event television; the perfect storm of an already beloved character, geniuses behind the scenes and an incredibly alluring concept that channels the spirit of the show that came before it, which itself was one of the most important shows of the 21st century. There's a long time to go until the show arrives, and though we have been treated to some tantalising morsels of information since the show was announced before the end of Breaking Bad had even arrived, there's enough to justify the show's unavoidable hype, and it's time to start getting seriously excited about the crown-jewel of AMC's new scheduling.
