20. Adam

The main villain of Buffy's fourth season, Adam died exactly as he lived - boringly.

It was fun to see Buffy take on the monster with the magical help of Giles, Willow and Xander while the Initiative crumbled around them. And whilst it was also satisfying to finally say goodbye to him, Adam's death still stands as the most forgettable of the show's main antagonists.

He only ranks this high because it was great to see his story come to an end.
