6. Marvel Productions Have A Great Tone

Marvel have managed to get an amazing tone in most of their films; they have balanced the serious and ominous tones with comic relief gags and one line quips that break the tension. This is a world away from the unintentionally funny tone of the Daredevil movie. The movie tried to capture a dark and gritty tone, but the poor choreography and style of the costume undermined this, not to mention the overacting of Colin Farrell€™s Bullseye. This series represents an opportunity for Marvel to infuse Daredevil with this tone; it can still be dark and gritty, but they know how to use comedy as a counter balance. This stops it from being a bleak drama and makes it feel much more like a comic book inspired production. The producers of this show have already said that it will be darker than Agents of SHIELD, but that it will still feel like a Marvel production. There are pretty high hopes that the Daredevil show will balance the fantasy aspects of the character with the down to earth and gritty nature of Daredevil.
