Daredevil TV Show: 10 Things It Can Finally Get Right

5. It Will Connect With The Wider Universe

Marvel don€™t let any of their franchises exist in isolation now; even Guardians of the Galaxy was linked to the rest of the universe as Lady Sif had met The Collector in Thor: The Dark World€™s mid-credit scene. 2003's Daredevil film was a product of 20th Century Fox, so it could have been linked to the successful X-Men films - thankfully nobody did shared universes back then. Marvel's version of Daredevil won€™t be existing alone either; they plan on producing Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage series like Daredevil, before joining them in a Defenders miniseries. Daredevil will inevitably be riddled with references to the wider MCU events, as well as providing us with hints about what might come up next. These references are one of the many things that make Marvel films unique and popular. Marvel€™s Agents of SHIELD has shown how well the MCU can be connected across platforms. Marvel has already said that if the show is a hit (which in all likelihood it will be) there is no impediment to Daredevil and company making the transition to the big screen. You could, eventually, see Daredevil and the Defenders making an appearance in a later Marvel film.
