Wow, talk about great hero work from Martin Stein. Stein clearly wants to accept Rip Hunters offer of travelling through time and helping to save the future of the world, but Jefferson Jackson, the other half of Firestorm, wants no part of it. So, ever the do-good hero, Professor Stein drugs his other half with a laced spirit in order to have Jax unwillingly be a part of Hunters plans. This was a massively sinister, surprising, and downright creepy moment from Stein, and you have to wonder why exactly he has spiked drinks casually in his house.
