Series 7. Episode 9. 20 April 2013. It's another case of The Doctor's apparent joviality belying the true gravity of the situation as he and Clara wander around the big old spooky house at the beginning of Hide. Even from the opening few minutes of the episode it's clear that some strange, quite possibly supernatural things are happening. As they reach the landing at top of the stairs a loud noise of unknown source backs them into the corner. When Clara asks what it is, The Doctor describes it as "a very loud, very angry noise" and asks her if she's making it. Clara explains to the Doctor that while she might be "a teeny, tiny bit terrified... I'm still a grown-up... there's no need to actually hold my hand". The Doctor raises his hands in front of his face, flaps them about a bit and tells her "I'm not holding your hand". At this point they both look behind themselves, before screaming and running down the stairs. So were any of these ones among your favourite Eleventh Doctor funny moments?
