Doctor Who: 10 Amazing TV Show Crossovers Fans Want To See
10. The Thick Of It
Alright, so who wouldn’t want to see the Twelfth Doctor come face to face with Malcolm Tucker? His reaction to the language alone would be entertaining enough to get any fan through an hour of televisual delight. Of course, The Doctor being a man of intelligence would likely find himself at odds with the profanity-laden method of communication chosen by the Government spin doctor.
The most recent series of Doctor Who has already included subtle hints that The Doctor recognises the face with which he has found himself, and Stephen Moffat has already made mention that there is an idea in place as to why there are multiple characters in the Whoniverse who have the very same likeness to our dear number Twelve. Adding another in the form of the expletive-wielding Tucker is unlikely to change that story.
Imagine the scene - The Doctor lands his TARDIS outside Ten Downing Street to deal with a rumoured Alien incursion in which MP's have been replaced by Zygons. The Doctor and Tucker would have to work together to defeat the evil invaders, whilst also trying to deal with the potential fall out that would come from the citizens of the United Kingdom finding out that dodgy expenses are not the only thing that some MP's are hiding. In the end, The Doctor would fly away in his TARDIS, leaving Malcolm Tucker to spin this very public scandal.
"F*cking, F*ck me" indeed, Malcolm.
