Doctor Who: 10 Billie Piper Songs That Are Basically About Rose

By Dan Butler /

3. Party On The Phone

Billie was partial to a good old fashioned knees up back in her days a pop sensation (the theme of partying is one that's conveyed in at least 99.8% of her songs) but a Party on the Phone it was not for Rose Tyler when she finally returned to our universe in the Series 4 finale. It was a bad day for her in general really when - after waiting years to be reunited with the Doctor and quite literally ripping the realms of reality apart to find him again - she was ultimately left out of the phone call which brought all of his companions together. The respective casts of Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures even came along for the ride and all they had to do was come across from a different channel, let alone a different universe, but all Rose could do was watch the conversation unfold (though that was also down to the fact that webcams are naughty) as the allies joined forces at a time of great need. Rose even cried out "Who's she!?" when Martha appeared on the screen which pretty much echoed what the rest of us were thinking when Dr Jones first appeared as well as continuing the ongoing rivalry between the two characters who had, at this point, never even met. That's what the Doctor does to his admirers, you see, though fans are still waiting for that cat fight. Meow.
