The Doctor's most recent encounter with River came when she appeared as part of a dream-induced "conference call" alongside Madame Vastra, Jenny and Clara and it later transpired that she was nothing more than an echo who had been mentally linked to Clara. It was a nice form of closure for the Doctor who finally got to say goodbye to River with the added bonus of actually knowing who the hell she was. Whether or not this scene will turn out to hold any other significance remains to be seen... And that was River Song in a timey-wimey nutshell! What did you think of this list?
