Speaking of returning writers, Mark Gatiss has also revealed that he'll be writing a script for Series 9. Let's be honest, though, as one of NuWho's most frequent contributors, both on and off screen, his involvement was practically a given already. He's also Steven Moffat's best buddy, too, which certainly helps. He didn't reveal much about what his upcoming escapade will entail (other than the fact it's scary - again, practically a given!), but he did confess that it was "a tough nut to crack". Fans were generally thrilled to hear that he'll be back again, since his previous Whoniversal offerings (The Unquiet Dead, The Idiot's Lantern, Victory of the Daleks, Night Terrors, Cold War, The Crimson Horror and Robot of Sherwood) have all been received well.
