10. Big Finish Has Been Running Since 1999

What a lot of fans might not know is that Big Finish has been running for two decades. In many ways it's been running for much longer, with the various writers, directors, and producers having worked on their own audio material during the dreaded wilderness years prior to Big Finish's formation.

It's certainly crazy to think that Big Finish is significantly older than the modern era of the televised series. Plus when you consider how far they've come in that time, going from just developing stories for the Classic Doctors, to eventually expanding the lore further through the usage of modern Doctors and characters.

No longer are they simply a nice little trinket that filled in the gap between Classic and New Who, but rather now an ever growing expansion of the main show that's treated with the upmost respect.
