Appearing in the twentieth anniversary special The Five Doctors, the Raston Warrior Robot was an excellent concept let down by somewhat mediocre execution. The Raston Robot is an almost flawless killing machine that is capable of moving so fast it can€™t be even be seen when in motion. This is combined with its ability to detect the slightest movement of anything around it and a large array of in-built weapons to easily make it one of the most lethal robots we€™ve seen in Doctor Who. And in its only appearance it showed just how destructive it could be by destroying a squad of Cybermen in under a minute. An enemy of that capability can€™t be left to have just one appearance. This killing machine should come back and start tearing lumps out of anyone who crosses it. Though if it does come back, it just has to be played by martial artist Ray Park (Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace). He€™d surely deliver a brilliant physical performance that, combined with the advance in visual effects in the last thirty years, would make the Raston Robot look absolutely gorgeous as well as it being a formidable foe for the Doctor.
