Doctor Who: 10 Problems With Revolution Of The Daleks

3. Flawed Daleks

Further to the problems caused by the Doctor summoning more Daleks to Earth - her reasoning as to why the plan will work was also deeply flawed.

Claiming that the SAS Daleks wouldn't be interested in the native humans and instead would only go after the impure models, this either created a serious problem with the Doctor's logic or demonstrated Chibnall's inability to write the Daleks.

Judging by the Daleks' decision to destroy their prison in 2012's Asylum of the Daleks rather than travel to the surface and battle the renegades, the Daleks wouldn't hesitate to simply destroy Earth. The Doctor made a massive risk in believing that the Daleks wouldn't arrive in the atmosphere and fire down on the planet to incinerate the insurgents.

The Daleks have previously invaded the Earth on numerous occasions, so there's no reason to think that the SAS Daleks wouldn't have attempted to enslave the planet either in the process. The throwaway suggestion that these Daleks wouldn't be interested in exterminating the humans is nonsense and goes against everything these space fascists exist for.

We know that Captain Jack was present during at least three attempted Dalek invasions and witnessed the consequences, so his decision to go along with the plan without major push-back also seems out of character.
