In an opening scene worthy of a big screen adaptation, fan favourite River Song - in her first appearance since her death the season before - sneaks aboard a private space vessel, seduces the owner and searches the cargo for a rumoured thing of horror. It's one of many moments from the spiritual successor to Lara Croft, but this one takes the spot. It's such a dazzlingly brilliant reintroduction of a mysterious and enduring character that echoes heroines like Lara Croft - the cheeky wink when she's caught, the discovery of something powerful and terrifying (a Weeping Angel) and the cool-as-ice exit through an air corridor, propelled out into space where she's caught by the Doctor, having led him there with coordinates written on the black box of the crashed vessel. That's how you do it.
