Doctor Who: 10 Unanswered Questions From The Revived Series

Everybody loves to speculate about the upcoming developments of their favourite fictional universe and Doctor Who fans are notorious for taking it to the extreme. In their defence, though, it doesn't really help matters that the show is practically forcing them to come up with their own weird and wonderful theories. If they're devoting their time to working out what the hell is going to happen next, the writers only have themselves to blame. That's ultimately what they want, of course, and it's a real testament to their abilities that they're always able to keep us guessing. Usually they're kind to us. A narrative arc is introduced and eventually - be it an episode, a series or three years *ahem* Moffat *ahem* later - there's some sort of satisfying pay off. Sometimes, though, something comes along that is never, ever explained. And it drives us all insane. This list has compiled 10 such examples, a handful of unanswered questions from the revived series (so far!) that have either been deliberately left open for viewer interpretation or otherwise seemingly forgotten.
