There have been quite a few "multi-Doctor" stories in the history of Doctor Who and in just about every one of them, the Doctor doesn't get along with himself. The Tenth Doctor had two such stories of his own, the 50th anniversary episode as well as the Children in Need mini-episode 'Time Crash'. Although he kept the snarkiness toned down in The Day of the Doctor, Time Crash saw him revelling in the fact that he knew exactly what to do in this emergency, because he had seen and remembered himself doing it previously. While the Fifth Doctor was rightfully panicking at the "Belgium sized" hole that was about to be torn through the universe, his future incarnation casually flipped some switches whilst having an air of superiority about him. Many Doctors "rightfully" claim to be the smartest one in the room, but he had no need to be this way with whom he claims was "his Doctor".
