You can never spend enough money on Doctor Who. As Steven Moffat has said, We could spend Avatars budget. However, its no secret that there are more greenbacks lying around American TV. And it might be win-win: the money the BBC makes from their participation in the US show could feed back into the British version, which could save us from, er, less dignified money-making schemes (like those multi-coloured Daleksbut that wasnt at all for merchandise, oh no).
