Doctor Who: 10 Worst Things The Daleks Have Ever Done
10. Only The Monstrous - The Thousand Worlds
In 2015, Big Finish acquired the rights to New Who content, and their first exploit into this era was with a series for the War Doctor, venturing into the Time War.
The first of these audio adventures for the War Doctor, we see the Daleks invade the planet Keska with another ruthless race, the Taalyens. On the surface, invading a planet and enslaving the locals quite a generic Dalek plot. However, this invasion is apart of a much larger scheme.
Keska is simply one of a thousand worlds, all invaded by the Daleks and where they place engines within the centre of these planets. The Daleks have tried to place engines inside planets before, but more on that later. What could the Daleks do with all these worlds filled with engines? Well, simple - fire them at Gallifrey to win the Time War.
That is one hell of an offensive against the Time Lords. Destroy over one thousand worlds, enslave all those populations, and force them to drill into the core of their own planet. All a pretty sick scheme really.
Thankfully the Doctor and co stops the plot and the war still rages on, with the Daleks committing further atrocities.
