9. Donna's Line "So Am I" Is A Nod To Spartacus

When the Doctor first meets Caecilius, he introduces himself as "Spartacus", because it's the first appropriate, Roman-themed name he can think of.

When it's Donna's turn, she says "So am I", causing Caecilius to think that they're a married couple - "Mr. and Mrs. Spartacus?"

As tweeted by Moran, Donna's line here is actually a nod to the 1960 historical epic Spartacus. In that film, there's a scene where a group of slaves each yells out "I'm Spartacus!" in order to protect the identity of the real Spartacus.
