Really? Its somewhat odd and depressing, that of all the rumours on this list, I think Danny Dyer could be the most viable. Admittedly, the source article is tongue in cheek but the idea of a geezer in the role of the Doctor seems to exist elsewhere too perhaps this joke article spawned some rumours that just wont die. I dont mind change. Change is good. Doctor Who is all about change. But the star of The Football Factory in the lead role? Im fine with gritty. Just not sure Im fine with a Doctor who will shout expletives and head butts a Sontaran. Actually, that does sound somewhat amusing. Perhaps Ill take it all back
