2. The Return Of Captain Jack Harkness

Finally, Doctor Who fans can rest knowing that our favourite part-time character is finally returning after almost 10 years away from our screens. John Barrowman will be returning to Doctor Who for this year's festive special. The news was announced on Doctor Who Day (23rd November 2020) to the delight of thousands of fans all around the world. Whovians were treated to a quick look at Captain Jack in this years mid-season episode.

We are re-introduced to Jack in his newly stolen spaceship in desperate need of the Doctor to tell her some important news. He attempts to scoop the Doctor out of her location but constantly fails by only scooping the companions onto his ship, which is being chased around the galaxy. We never get to see Jack interact with the Thirteenth Doctor in the episode but come Christmas, that's all going to change.
