5. Are We Returning To Skaro?
The Daleks are returning in series 9, because its Doctor Who and theyre the Daleks, and we get a brief shot of them in the trailer. Later on we then see a planet that looks like it could well be a Dalek planet. Is this a return to Skaro, their homeland, or another, new planet that theyve settled on?
Skaro has only appeared in new Who once, back in season 7 opener Asylum of the Daleks (which introduced us to Clara). That was the first time itd been seen since 1996, and it only appeared fairly briefly at the beginning, and it hasnt been seen since. Could it be time for the Daleks to return home?
Otherwise, if its still in too ruinous a state, have they taken over a new city, an event that may well lead to The Doctor trying to stop them?
