The most awesome-sounding Doctor Who episode ever also contains one of the vilest villains. David Bradley plays Solomon, a greedy and ruthless pirate who boarded a Silurian ark and proceeded to kill all of them after discovering the ship's extremely valuable cargo: dinosaurs. Solomon doesn't even do his own dirty work - instead leaving it to his robots to sickeningly jettison the Silurians from the airlocks and murder a triceratops.

The Doctor's actions in the end - leaving Solomon to the mercy of the missiles - were mentioned by some reviewers at the time as perhaps going "a step too far", but sometimes they've got to unleash the fury of a Time Lord on the scum of the universe.
