9. The Bad Wolf Virus (Love & Monsters)

It’s no surprise many missed this easter egg as who really wants to rewatch or even pay too much attention to Love & Monsters?

After Victor Kennedy comes in and takes over LINDA, putting them to some proper detective work, he decides the best way to get to the Doctor is through Rose, and gives them a run down on the companion. He tells them “Now when it comes to the Doctor's companion, the Torchwood files are strangely lacking. It seems the evidence has been corrupted. Something called Bad Wolf virus.” Talk about two easter eggs for the price of one!

Anyone who did notice this quick mention of the last series arc, was probably too caught up to even notice that Russell had slipped in another mention of Torchwood into series two. Very sneaky stuff.
