5. Child’s Paintings (Silence In The Library)

By this time we had already seen Rose come back at the end of the series four premiere, so our minds had been officially blown and everyone was well and truly back on Wolf Watch! 

Throughout Silence In The Library we cut between the Doctor and Donna’s adventure in the titular library, and the home of a little girl. In one of these scenes we can see some child’s paintings on the wall of a blonde woman and a wolf.

Okay yes, the blonde woman is wearing glasses and Rose wasn’t exactly known for her specs, but with the fact that we knew Rose was returning, the wolf underneath, and Russell’s penchant for cramming a Bad Wolf into the show every five minutes, I think we can safely say that this was meant to be a reference to our favourite blonde companion.
