And Flux started so well.

The Vanquishers takes the web of plot threads introduced throughout this six-episode miniseries, rolls them into a ball, and throws them aimlessly in the vague direction of a wall.

The result is an episode that doesn’t resolve most of its setup, and quietly sweeps the rest under the rug while stealth-dropping the nonsensical reveal that time is a physical entity - and an evil one at that.
