Doctor Who Series 13 is right around the corner. This time next week, we'll be poring over the episode two trailer like that iconic Charlie Day meme, and we'll be one step closer to Jodie Whittaker's incoming regeneration.

Also going by the over-arching title "Flux", Series 13 has been shrouded in more mystery than almost any other NuWho series. That's partly due to COVID restrictions forcing a more behind-closed-doors shoot, but hopefully, it's also because showrunner Chris Chibnall has got some crazy surprises in store.

Whatever the case, with the first episode airing on Halloween, the marketing for Series 13 has ramped up over the last two weeks: clips and images have been released, the BBC has dropped numerous teases, and Whittaker, Chibnall, Mandip Gill, John Bishop, and executive producer Matt Strevens have been doing their press rounds.

As such, we've just learned a ton of new information about what we can expect, from the "development" of the Weeping Angels, to the nature of the Flux, to how the Doctor's Timeless Child history will affect her throughout the series.

There's a lot to cover, so let's discuss some of the juiciest stuff!

15. The AWESOME Titles Of Episodes One And Two

Though the titles of episodes three, four, five, and six are being kept under wraps for now, we recently got confirmation that the title of episode one is - drumroll please - The Halloween Apocalypse, while episode two is called War Of The Sontarans.

The BBC is actually calling them Chapter One: The Halloween Apocalypse and Chapter Two: War Of The Sontarans, but fans definitely won't be using chapter titles when discussing these episodes in years to come!

According to Chibnall, the goal was "to start with an episode that feels like a finale", so we can expect the scale of The Halloween Apocalypse to be much grander than other NuWho series openers.
