Here's something to be excited about! With classic Doctor Who monsters, the Ice Warriors, finally returning to our screens this season in the eighth episode, The Cold War, fans have been waiting with bated breath to see the inevitable Moffatized new look. The new series has done a pretty great job so far, with redesigns for the Cybermen, Daleks, and Sontarans being knocked out of the park. Fans generally loved the designs. Then came the new look Silurians. Looking more like a generic sci-fi lizard creature than their uniquely brilliant sixties counterparts, to say that many fans were disappointed would be understating it quite a bit. So, will this new look be more like the Sontarans? Or are we getting another Silurian?
