So, everyone now knows who River Song is. How will that change the relationship between her and the Doctor? Remember, River and the Doctor are continually meeting each other in the wrong order something that is truly one of Steven Moffats most inspired ideas and also his most confusing. So now that River and the Doctor have passed the long hinted at point where he discovers her identity, the Doctor knows more than River does about their future; his and the viewers' future at least. There is also the possibility that River could still have an agenda to defeat the Doctor somewhere in the future. After all there are many years missing between the scenes in which River kills the Doctor in The Wedding of River Song and Amy giving birth to Melody Pond, who eventually becomes River. Yes, it is definitely the most mind twisting part of Moffats reign. As an extra little bit of information on River, according to Caro Skinner, River is the queen of mischief in episode five; the episode that sees the departure of Amy and Rory. More on that one later.
