Yes, I know theyre only rumours and there have been rumours about the Ood making an appearance too. But I dont care about the Ood as much as I care about the Ice Warriors and Zygons (though like the Doctor says, everyone loves a good Ood). Now none of this is confirmed except for Matt Smith mentioning that a monster we havent seen since the series returned in 2005 will be back. Of course, this could be any number of different critters, and the Ice Warriors have been mentioned in passing in previous episodes. But my line of thought is that Mars has been in the news a lot over the past 12 months, especially the idea of it having once been able to support life, and I cant help but wonder if that might have inspired a story that will see the Ice Warriors resurrected.
