10. The Dalek - Time Lord Hybrids

In The Witch's Familiar, Davros tricked the Doctor into helping him by having him plug into the Dalek machine and fuse his Time Lord DNA with the Daleks. While the Doctor claimed he was aware of the trap in the first place, Missy was the one who saved him and that gamble almost unleashed an army of Dalek - Time Lord hybrids on the galaxy. Only the rejuvenated Dalek 'sewers' killing their live masters stopped this catastrophic war from taking place.

Of course, Dalek hybrids are nothing new. Davros used humans as fodder for his new Daleks in the Sixth Doctor story Revelation of the Daleks and years later Dalek Sec merged with Mr. Diagoras in the Tenth Doctor story Daleks In Manhatten, creating a hybrid of Daleks and humans before the rest of the Cult Of Skaro turned against him.

Someone as nefarious as Davros would surely have survived the events at the end of The Witch's Familiar and with Missy devising a new and cunning plan this is surely not the last time we will be seeing the Daleks. Will the hybrids have survived? And will they be back in the finale? The first of many hybrids in series nine, there is still a big question over what these Daleks will do next...
