Did any true Whovians expect any less from this list? I€™ll admit, whenever Vale Decem (literally translated €œFarewell Ten€) comes on my iPod I shed a tear or two€ or a waterfall, whatever. *sniffle* Having defeated the Master one last time, the Doctor finds Wilfred Mott trapped in a radiation chamber, a chamber that will only release him if someone else steps into the adjacent chamber in Wilf€™s place. The Doctor releases him and takes a fatal dosage of radiation in the process. As he slowly dies from radiation poisoning, the Doctor visits each of his companions for one last goodbye, including a water works inducing scene where he visits Rose Tyler on New Year€™s 2005, the year they would meet for the first time. It is after this final goodbye when the Doctor€™s body begins to deteriorate, and as he walks into the TARDIS in tears of pain and looming mortality, he whimpers the five words that define his final moments, €œI don€™t want to go.€ We didn€™t want you to either, David€ With that last line, in a fiery regeneration came my Doctor, Matt Smith, and a crippled TARDIS crash landing towards the little town called Leadworth, where a little girl would be waiting€
