Not being released as yet from their Dornish cell are the Sand Snakes, who once again remain locked-up for most of this episode. They have to make do with amusing themselves, which involves playing a variant of the game 'mercy', attempting to hit the others hands before they can move it out of the way. Tyene is shown to be poor at the game, or at least pretending to be, before eventually dodging Nymerias slap and planting one on her face for good measure. The purpose of the scene isnt clear, as we dont learn an awful lot about the Sand Snakes from it, which is in keeping with how underserved theyve been all season. It doesnt go any better for Ellaria either, as its strongly suggested she was the one who made the threat on Myrcellas life. She storms out when Doran agrees terms with Jaime, but is later seen - as the Snakes watch on - having to bend her knee to him. This all may eventually tie into the overarching Dornish plot, if theres some sort of final reveal, but for now these characters seem rather stuck.
