10. Tormund

Tormund is the most underrated cult hero around. He's a wildling with a lust for death but also more honour than almost anyone else in the show. At times he's demonstrated his outrageous character traits, but for events like Mance Rayder's execution, he respected Jon Snow's merciful arrow shot to finish the job quickly.

As things stand, Tormund and his wildling host are south of the Wall they're without a liaison between themselves and the Night's Watch due to the lack of Snow. That's a potentially cataclysmic problem. Tormund's reaction to Jon's death is crucial. Will there be even more bloodshed, or can a compromise be reached for the sake of everyone involved? Tormund is a warrior though, and he won't go down easily.
