4. Are We Really Getting A Jon And Daenerys Romance?

HBO

Game of Thrones continues to move closer to some unknowing incest between Daenerys and Jon, with another scene between the pair full of chemistry and sparks flying.

At this point, with all the looks they've given and words they've said, it definitely feels like the show is going down that path, and it's a question of how far down it things will get.

Are we going to see them have a full-blown romance before they learn they're related? Even if they do learn, would it stop them? Jon, being raised in the North, might have some problems with incest, but it's never been a major issue for Targaryens in the past. There's more than just the fact that they're aunt and nephew too, but the fact Jon is the next in line to the Throne, not Daenerys. Succession was brought up in this episode, but how would Daenerys feel about him being the ruler, not her (not that Jon is likely to want it, and they could just get married and solve numerous issues)?

And what about Daenerys' ability to have children. It feels important that she discusses succession and loses a 'child' in the same episode Jon is hit by the idea of having his own children, so could this relationship be the one to make Daenerys' "womb quicken again". Would that even be a good thing? Jon never wanted to father a bastard, so how would he feel about a child of incest?
