Cause Of Death: Poisoned by Arya Stark, under the guise of Walder Frey

Walder Frey had been killed off at the end of Season 6, so it was a surprise to see him return at the very outset of the new year, raising a toast that would end with the rest of his family dead as well.

Arya pulls off the mask and, despite the questions raised about how Faceless Men powers work, it was another fist-pumping moment of triumph. Her "tell them winter came for House Frey" line was simply the icing on the cake.
