Cause Of Death: Given the Long Farewell by Cersei Lannister.
Completing the removal of the Sand Snakes from the show, Euron presents Cersei with Ellaria and Tyene as the gifts he previously promised her. And to exact revenge, Cersei goes like for like, killing the daughter with poison.
Lena Headey is as great as ever in this scene, but it's the first one where Indira Varma really steps up to match, making for a powerful, horrible sequence as mother and daughter are left inches apart screaming for another, echoing Rickard and Brandon Stark, but also highlighting how the Mad Queen's thirst for vengeance knows no bounds.
It may have been their end (and Varma confirmed it's the last we'll see of Ellaria, which makes for an even longer, more horrific death), yet the Sand Snakes were never better.
