4. Will Tyrion Turn Against Daenerys Now?
Tyrion has sat back and watched Daenerys make a lot of questionable moves. Although he’s had little choice, given he’s instigated a fair few of them himself. While Varys turns again Dany, he continues to be loyal, and it’s a decision that blows up in his face. Quite literally so, in fact.
Tyrion was clearly deeply disturbed by what he saw, and he can’t continue to blindly support Dany after her actions here. But what does that shift entail?
So far, he's attempted to make Dany - and those around her - see some sense of reason, but that might well be out the window after her actions in this episode. But if he can't reason with her, then his role as her Hand is rather meaningless. And if he can't advise her, then the logical extension of that is he needs to work against her.
That could quite simply be stopping her from carrying out any more harmful actions, but it could also require something far more drastic.
