Like Melisandre, Beric's final episodes were centred around his service to the Lord of Light, and attempts to help beat the White Walkers.

Beric's a great personality though, so it allowed for some stronger final moments: there was the usual, i.e. him fighting against the undead with a flaming sword in hand which, frankly, never got old. But there were also some stirring exchanges with the Hound, and a dramatic last stand where he did everything he could to hold back the wights and allow Arya to escape, willingly giving his life so that the living could go on.
