Lyanna Mormont wasn't supposed to stick around for quite this long, but she was so popular after her debut that the showrunners brought her back, which results in one of Season 8's best deaths.

Although Lyanna doesn't have a big role in Season 8, she's one of the bravest people in Westeros until the very end. Her meeting with Jorah is touching, but of course she'll mostly be remembered for her death scene, where she's killed by a giant wight, but not before killing it too. The Lady of Bear Island went out as the ultimate badass.
