Game Of Thrones: 15 Upcoming Problems That Could Potentially Derail It

11. A Directionless Tyrion Lannister?

The trailers have already revealed the former Hand Of The King in chains as this season everything Tyrion has achieved looks set to come crashing down around him. After a magnificent turns of events in season two, where Tyrion proved he was in fact an excellent Hand Of The King, it will be heart-breaking to see he imprisoned, put on trial and ultimately exiled. After that, his story suffers the same fate as many other characters; it doesn't quite get to when it needs to go. Fans shouldn't fear that Peter Dinklage will have run out great moments once he deals with his father and Shae once and for all; but they shouldn't expect that just because he's heading in the direction of Slaver's Bay that he's going to immediately end up on Daenerys's side either. Broken as he might be by what he endures in season four, Tyrion will still have his wits about him and Peter Drinklage will be as remarkable as always. From his journey with his mysterious companions on the Shy May (the encounter with the stone men has me positively excited), to his relationship with poor Penny and entering the war at Mereen; they are all sure to be memorable. But the encounter with Daenerys was the moment we were all waiting for and it never comes (at least not yet). Again, there is a lot of building to something new with not much pay off.
